The Junior Rifle Club is open to ages 12-19 and is designed to get young people involved in the shooting sports. The club shoots .22 rilfes in an indoor range that is well supervised. The club meets from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday evenings from September through May in the basement range of Westgate. If you dont have a gun don't worry, all guns and ammunition are provided by Westgate Sportsmans Club!

Please note that we only allow club members and guests to use our ranges. We are not open to the public for open shooting. If you are a member and wish to shoot at the range please contact a board member to check in.

Activities

   Learn the art of marksmanship shooting - prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions

   Parent/child matches

   Matches with Eau Claire Rifle Club

   State Tournament held in DePere, WI at the end of March

   Shooting at the outdoor range in the spring

   Annual camping trip on the second weekend of July

   Help out at Cornfest every August

   Work at the public gun sight-in held in early November
